Founded in 1898 and based in Leuven since 1906, the family-owned Bonte company is now in its fourth generation.

Initially, the company manufactured electric motors, gas engines, and parts, but as early as 1913, Bonte was already supplying complete flour mills under the brand name “Louis Bonte.”

Over the years, the company has specialized in grinding, grooving, or re-grooving mill rollers for various sectors, such as flour mills, animal feed factories, breweries, and coffee roasters.

A new chapter for Bonte Ateliers.
Starting in 2026, Kris Vancauwenberghe and his wife will take over Bonte Ateliers. Thanks to more than 20 years of experience in the metal and maintenance sectors and in-house training, they possess the knowledge and expertise to carry on the business.

Under the new name ATELIERS BONTE VC, the company will continue to operate in Beernem, with an unwavering focus on quality and reliability. In this way, we will build on the values and craftsmanship for which Ateliers Bonte is known.
